Enrollment Requirements

$500-$997 annual enrollment fee per learner
ACH payment setup required
This fee is refundable only if, after your family tour or Hero Day, the School determines that Acton is not a good fit.
Annual tuition is $9500 ($11,500 after July 20, 2025).
Monthly tuition is billed via ACH on a 10 month schedule, unless otherwise requested by parents and agreed accomodation by the school.
Tuition is due on the fifteenth of each month, unless otherwise arranged.
Late payments may be subject to a late fee of $35 and/or suspension of participation until the account is current.
Tuition rates are subject to change annually with advance notice.
Regular attendance is essential to the success of the learner.
If you wish to withdraw your child, we require 30 days' written notice and/or an exit form.
A phone or zoom meeting may also be requested.
Tuition is non-refundable for partial months or mid-month withdrawal.
Support the ACTON model, including its learner-driven environment and self-paced curriculum
Attend parent meetings, onboarding sessions, and any required school events
Maintain respectful communication with the staff and guides
Provide timely responses to school communications and complete required forms or tasks
As a parent at Acton Academy, I promise to:

Allow my child to fail early, cheaply, and often
Celebrate progress and reinforce responsible choices at home
Learners must adhere to community standards.
Continued enrollment contingent on respectful behavior.
Engage respectfully and responsibly with their learning environment
Follow studio agreements and community expectations
Participate in Socratic discussions, projects, and goal-setting sessions
As a learner at Acton Academy, I promise to:
Work hard and play hard-Acton learners give their best effort and celebrate life with joy, curiosity, and fun.
Make courageous choices-Acton learners step outside their comfort zones, face challenges with courage, and stand for what is right.
Keep my promises and take responsibility for my actions-When Acton learners fall short, they admit it honestly and accept the natural consequences—growing stronger from each experience.
1. Persisting in victim language after being guided toward growth and responsibility.
2. Harassment/bullying of any kind, including hitting, pushing, threatening or other verbal/physical aggression.
3. Disregard or disrespect for the Studio Contract (the Studio Contract is different from the Honor Code),
or Rules of the Acton Game (see pg. 5).
4. Displaying a pattern of disrespect/disregard for launches/circles — which may include late arrival.
5. Misuse of electronics (see pg. 15 - Electronic ROE)
6. Cheating, plagiarizing, or misreporting of accomplished work in any activity.
7. Destruction of School Property.
8. Inappropriate actions, hand signals, vulgar language, cursing, sexual innuendo or computer usage.
9. Drug, tobacco, alcohol, vaping, use/sharing/distribution of over the counter drugs (see Medication, pg. 17), or
weapon use during any school day or activity or on school premise.
10. Generally, learning how to live within the hero contract bounds happens through peer accountability and Hero
Bucks. An Honor Code Strike or Violation would be issued by a guide as deemed necessary for behavior that is

Arrival: 8:00–8:15 AM
Dismissal: 3:15 PM; late fee applies after 3 late pickups
Electronics Policy:
Tools not toys
No video games, no recreational video viewing
No social media during school
Zero tolerance for pornography viewing
Transportation Waiver:
You authorize transport by insured drivers for field experiences. Learners are expected to follow safety guidelines.
